Towanda FUNdraiser in a Box!
We’ve heard from so many girlfriends who are as disappointed as we are that the annual Team Towanda FUNdraiser won’t take place this year. It just doesn’t feel like October without a boa and a night out with your girlfriends, does it? Well, several groups of friends all feel the same way and have decided to have mini FUNdraisers on their own! What a cool way to continue to embrace the spirit of Towanda and contribute to a fabulous cause in such a fun way!
To help get the party started, we have a “Towanda in a Box” FUNdraiser package available on our online boobtique. Order your box, pick a date and call your girlfriends together! As the number of uninsured, underserved women in need of breast services continues to climb, anything any of us can do is so very appreciated. So get ready to PAR-TAY with all your best gal pals. And by the way, all of us believe that EVERY month should be Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so don’t get all stressed out about squeezing it into October!
We’d love to hear about any FUNdraising ideas you have that we can pass along to other girlfriends who decide to just “git it done!” Email us at teamtowanda@yahoo.com. If you decide to plan a bash, just remember the one and only rule that pertains to a Towanda event : “What happens at Towanda, STAYS at Towanda!!” It’s the girlfriend honor code!

Save the date for TTF's 2010 FUNdraiser: Saturday, October 16, 2010, to be held again at the Wethersfield Community Center. Pre-ordered tickets will be required. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months!
