Team Towanda has again partnered with The Buick Championship and the Greater Hartford Jaycees in some wonderful opportunities for you and for Team Towanda. This year we are going to participate again in the “Birdies for Charity” program, as well as another new Buick Championship program called “Chip in for Charity.” Both are outstanding opportunities for a small non-profit organization like ours and we hope that you can support us by participating. Every single dime (as in 100%!) that you contribute through these programs goes directly to Team Towanda Foundation. Not one cent will be deducted for administrative or overhead expenses. Your contribution is used by TTF to fund mammograms and breast related services for uninsured, underserved women in the Greater Hartford community. You will make a very direct, tangible difference in the lives of the women we help. Please consider one or both or these programs to support all “Pink Ribbon Warriors” in the fight against breast cancer.

This is Team Towanda’s new fundraising opportunity in conjunction with the Buick Championship and The Greater Hartford Jaycees! This a great deal for YOU as well as for Team Towanda. We will be selling tickets to the Buick Championship and Team Towanda will retain 50% of the revenue generated from the sales! That’sright! Team Towanda makes 50%! We can sell you a grounds admission ticket that is valid any one day of the tournament. Tickets will be sold for $20.00 each (daily tickets sell for up to $32.00 at the gate) and Team Towanda makes $10.00 on every ticket sold!

EXAMPLE:
You buy 10 tickets….Team Towanda makes $100.00
You buy 10 tickets………You save $120.00
It’s a win-win situation for all of us!

It’s easy…Click Here for a form and mail it directly back to Team Towanda Foundation. Please make your check out to Team Towanda Foundation. Team Towanda will then send you a voucher for each ticket purchased. You then bring the voucher to the tournament ticket gate on the day(s) you wish to attend and exchange it for one daily admission ticket. The forms must be submitted to us by May 26,2006. If Team Towanda sells the most tickets, The Buick Championship will reward us with A Buick Tiger Woods replica staff bag, similar to the one Tiger uses on TOUR. We can also receive free tickets to the 2006 tournament. If we are eligible for this we want to share it with you! If you participate in Chip in for Charity, for each ticket you buy we will enter you in a drawing for these prizes. So help us help you to win these great prizes!

The Birdies program is based on pledges collected for a specific donation per the number of “birdies” made at the Buick Championship to be held June 28-July 2, 2006. (For any non-golfers, a birdie is a score of one under par for any given hole on the course). Historically, approximately 1500-2000 birdies are made during a tournament. If you pledge one cent per birdie, you would be committing approximately $15 to $20. You are also eligible to guess the exact number of birdies you believe will be made at the tournament.

We are proud to tell you that last year’s GRAND PRIZE winner was one of our donors! Team Towanda (because we just LOVE prizes and presents!) will also be entering pledge cards designated to Team Towanda Foundation into a random drawing for additional prizes. Whoot! Whoot!
